DCAC Event Organizers Select GIGA Data Centers’ CEO As Featured Speaker
Atlanta, GA — September 25, 2019 — GIGA Data Centers, LLC (GIGA), the first North American data center to be named OCP-Ready™ announced today that company CEO, Jake Ring, has been selected by DCAC to speak at the organization’s Austin, Texas data center event. To be held on September 24th and 25th at Brazos Hall, Mr. Ring will discuss locating compute capacity where the data resides on the 25th at 2:05 PM.
Now in its fifth year and expanding to a two-day summit, DCAC overturns the static conference model to create a dynamic and disruptive event focused on the emerging technologies that are truly driving compute demand.
“Advances in self-driving cars, IoT devices, smart city technologies, and wearables are a few examples of why data centers need to evolve in order to support new processing needs,” Mr. Ring said. “GIGA’s modular data center technology offers the efficiency and savings required to cost-effectively provide the bandwidth and reduce the latency of placing the compute power closer to where the information is located. I look forward to discussing these new advances at the DCAC event.”
