High-Performance Network Access
GIGA’s Oak Ridge Data Center is located within the Energy Science Network (ESnet). ESnet is a high-speed computer network serving United States Department of Energy (DOE) scientists and their collaborators worldwide. More than 40 DOE Office of Science labs and research sites are directly connected to this network.
The proximity to ESnet enables GIGA Data Center customers involved in large-scale science to access vast data streams and remote research resources in real-time.
